(Philadelphia, PA)  --  The Justice Department will continue challenging strict voting rights laws in some states.  At a National Urban League conference in Philadelphia, Attorney General Eric Holder said voting discrimination still exists.  Holder condemned a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling which gutted  a key part of the landmark Voting Rights Act.  As a first step, Holder announced that he will petition a federal court for authority to challenge a tough voting rights law in Texas.
