BTS Returns To Work One Month After 'Period Of Rest And Relaxation'

2019 Billboard Music Awards - Arrivals

After a month-long reprieve, BTS is getting back to business.

The K-pop septet was spotted leaving the country from the Incheon Airport after concluding their vacation during South Korea’s Chuseok holiday this weekend, Billboard reported Monday (September 16). Evidently, the boys flew out overseas to "film a television show," as indicated per the following statement Big Hit Entertainment provided to a South Korean news outlet: "Wrapping up its extended vacation, BTS departed overseas this morning for an engagement abroad."

Bit Hit first announced BTS' "extended period of rest and relaxation" in mid-August.

“This period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators," the company's statement read, which explained the hiatus would hopefully give the group "a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly."

Following this week's overseas gig, band members — Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — will perform the last four shows of their "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" extended stadium tour in October, which kicks off in Saudi Arabia followed by a three-date concert in Seoul, South Korea.
