Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Cheer For Same Team When It Comes To Football

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani started dating about four years ago after meeting on the set of The Voice in 2015. Over the last few years, Stefani's developed a new love for country music according to Shelton who says "It's all she listens to." In addition to opening her eyes to country music, Shelton has also influenced Stefani when it comes to sports.

Shelton is a massive Arizona Cardinals fan. In fact, one of the first public dates he took Stefani on was to a Cardinals game in 2015. Now, years later, the "Hollaback Girl" is showing her support for her boyfriend's team in a recent post on Instagram.

The Southern California native posted a photo of herself bundled up in camouflage sweatshirt with a Cardinals beanie and a "2020" tiara on top. She captioned the photo "Hi #2020 Gx."

The couple most recently teamed up for a new love song "Nobody But You," featured on Shelton's newest album Fully Loaded: God's Country. "This was one of those songs where the more I heard it, the more I fell in love with it," Shelton said. "I also realized how important it is for me and where I am in my life, and I think that's why [writer] Shane [McAnally] was trying to get it to me."

"It fits my story," he added. "I was about to go in and record when I decided that it needed Gwen on it- because it is our song. I think it's magic."

The two are ready to take their relationship to the next level, but there's been a bit of a setback due to Stefani's faith. Her Roman Catholic faith does not allow remarriage after divorce unless the earlier marriage is annulled, which can be a lengthy process. Stefani's previous marriage with Gavin Rossdale ended in 2015 around the same time Shelton went through his divorce with Miranda Lambert.

Despite the delay, the couple is still confident they’ve found “the one” in each other and are “very serious” about the relationship. A friend of the couple says, “It’s definitely headed toward marriage.”
