A Texas man with two prior convictions for drunk driving is facing numerous charges after officers found a human arm in his vehicle.

The arrest warrant, which was obtained by KDFI, said that Juan Morgan Munoz, 31, called 911 to report that he had struck a pedestrian earlier in the night. He said he kept driving for about 30 minutes until he got to Maaco Auto Body Shop, where he worked.

When officers arrived, they noticed a "hole in the front passenger windshield" and "an entire arm on the front passenger seat" of his BMW.

Officers also noted that Munoz had "glassy/watery eyes, slurred speech, and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage." He failed a field sobriety test and recorded a .179 during a breathalyzer test.

The police said the arm belonged to a pedestrian who was killed when Munoz hit them with his vehicle.

Munoz was taken into custody and charged with collision involving death and driving while intoxicated (third or more). He was on probation at the time for his previous DWI conviction in 2023.
