The Indiana Hoosiers were trolled by Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard, as well as Ohio Stadium, after their 38-15 loss to end their undefeated streak on Saturday (November 23).
Howard was seen on the sideline shouting "Google me," referencing Indiana coach Curt Cignetti's recent comments about his team's resume and pantomiming smoking and putting out a fake cigarette. Ohio Stadium also showed Cignetti on the Indiana sideline on the jumbotron cropped into a fake newspaper headline that read, "BUCKEYES WIN??? GOOGLE IT!"
Cignetti appeared on the Triple Option podcast and defended the then-undefeated Hoosiers being ranked No. 5 overall despite ranking 106th in terms of strength of schedule by ESPN, with zero wins against ranked opponents.
“Do your research,” Cignetti said. “Google us … so you know something about us besides our name and what we’ve done in the past, and what somebody else says about our schedule.”
Howard finished Saturday's game with 201 yards, two touchdowns and one interception on 22 of 26 passing, as well as a one-yard touchdown run to give the Buckeyes their final score of the game. Ohio State had a 316 to 153 advantage in total yards, which included a 201 to 68 edge in passing yards and a 115 to 85 advantage in rushing yards.
Indiana had an early 7-0 lead before Ohio State scored 31 consecutive points between the second and fourth quarters.
