Chiefs Front Office Member Lands GM Gig With NFL Team: Report

The Tennessee Titans will reportedly hire Kansas City Chiefs assistant general manager Mike Borgonzi as their next general manager, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Friday (January 17).

"A decision in Tennessee: Titans haven’t offered a contract yet, but plan to try to hire Mike Borgonzi, the Chiefs assistant general manager, as their new general manager, per sources," Schefter wrote on his X account.

Borgonzi has worked for the Chiefs in some capacity since 2009, initially being hired as an administrator of college scouting before being promoted to manager of football operations in 2010, pro scout in 2011, assistant director of pro scouting in 2013, director of player personnel in 2015, director of football operations in 2018 and assistant general manager in 2021.
