Last year, HBO and Warner Brothers launched their new streaming service, HBO MAX. They had planned on launching with the big carrot being this huge FRIENDS reunion, featuring the entire cast of the show sitting down on the original Friends set for the first time since the show ended. Reports had each of the cast (Rachel, Ross, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe, and Joey...yes...got em all) being paid several million bucks to just show up. Then....the Pandemic hit and while the streaming service launched, the reunion was not able to be taped since almost all of Hollywood had shut down.
Recent word is that the reunion is back on and Ross Geller himself, David Schwimmer, confirmed last week to Andy Cohen that the upcoming special will be taping very soon!!
